Planning Commission Vote Now Wednesday

The Gwinnett County Planning Commission meets monthly on the first Tuesday of each month. Due to a backlog of cases from COVID-19 postponements, the Planning Commission will hold two meetings in September: Tuesday, September 1 and Wednesday, September 2. The rezoning cases for the property across from Huntington West will be voted on at the meeting WEDNESDAY. No public hearing will be held prior to the vote. If the Planning Commission ignores the opposition expressed by so many of our homeowners and votes to recommend “approval” of this rezoning (to allow for apartments, townhomes and retail space) we will then continue our fight and take it to the full Board of Commissioners, who will make the final decision on September 22.
HW HOA is nearing completion on its tennis court remodel. EverLines Coatings and Sealings fixed the sinkhole, added drainage gravel, and updated the fence and poles.

HOA meeting rescheduled mold issue fire station. New date being determined. Residents notified via mail email and Facebook with updated meeting information details.
HW HOA remodeling entrance with Legendary Landscaping. New landscaping irrigation system refresh. Improves curb appeal privacy and creates better first impression.
The annual meeting of the membership will be held at the pool parking lot on Thursday, May 9th, at 6:30 pm. Please see the attached 1st notice of the meeting.
Huntington West is blessed with many generous homeowners willing to help a neighbor in need, even a neighbor they have never met. Our Board would like to thank a trio of neighbors who stepped up to help a single mom who needed repairs to her picket fence. Many thanks to retiree Dave Lawson for volunteering to replace over 50 broken pickets on the fence.
The official results of the recent election for Board officers of the Huntington West Homeowners Association are: A total of 72 ballots were returned and validated. Some ballots did not include votes for every office.
Heritage has received a number of reports of ballots that have still not arrived in the mail. Our Account Manager Pam Smith today sent a ballot to all homeowners who have registered an email address with Heritage. Pool Opening and Mill Creek Graduation
