The Huntington West Pool offers a relaxing area for swimming, soaking up sun and visiting with friends. Lounge chairs and upright deck chairs are provided, but feel free to bring your own chairs as well. Stationary tables equipped with benches and umbrellas are evenly distributed on each end of the pool. Trash and recycling bins are conveniently positioned on each end of the expansive deck. An arbor covering a portion of one side of the pool deck offers a refuge for partial shade. An outdoor shower and gas grill are provided for homeowner use. No drink or snack machines are available, so feel free to bring refreshments - only no glass inside the pool enclosure, please. The pool is available to full members of the Huntington West Homeowners Association.

Lost & Found - The bin is located by the restrooms for lost and found items. Unclaimed items are donated to a local children's shelter by the end of the season.

REMINDER: homeowners are not permitted to allow the use of the key card by anyone other than authorized resident family members. The ability to bring guests to the pool is intended to provide members with an opportunity to entertain a guest on occasion – not regularly. It is not intended to permit teens or other members to offer a complimentary pool membership to friends or family from inside or outside Huntington West. Misuse of the key card can result in loss of access to the pool facilities.


A limit of 5 guests per family on occasion. Any member wishing to bring more than 5 guests to the pool has the option of making a reservation for a pool party

and paying the reservation fee.


Pool parties are limited to 15 total (including family members) Friday-Sunday and limited to 20 total (including family members) Monday-Thursday.

The following rules apply to every member or guest upon entering the enclosed pool area::

  • ACCESS KEY CARD – The access key card shall only be used by the dues-paying household to which it was issued.
  • CHILDREN 12 & UNDER – Must be accompanied by an adult who is 18 years of age or older.
  • ADULT SWIM/QUITE HOURS – 7:00am-8:00am and 10:00pm-11:00pm will be considered quite hours for members who wish to swim and relax. This will be strictly enforced.
  • NO FENCE JUMPING – It is considered trespassing to jump the fence around the pool.
  • POOL FUNITURE – All pool furniture must remain on the pool deck.
  • NO GLASS INSIDE FENCE – There is to be no glass inside of the fenced pool area. This is strictly enforced by Gwinnett County and could result in the county shutting down the pool if glass is present inside the fenced pool area, including trash cans.
  • NO SMOKING OR VAPING – There is to be no smoking or vaping, including but not limited to, cigarettes, cigars, vapes, and e-cigarettes, inside the fenced pool area. If you must smoke or vape you will need to exit the fenced pool area. Please dispose of the cigarette butts properly.
  • NO ANIMALS – Animals of any kind, including but not limited to, dogs, cats, and other household animals, are strictly prohibited in the fenced pool area.
  • SWIMWEAR – Everyone using the swimming pool must wear appropriate swim wear for a public pool.
  • CLEANLINESS & HEALTH CONCERNS – Everyone using the swimming pool must be clean before swimming. Anyone with an infection or a communicable disease is prohibited from using the pool. Anyone with open blisters, cuts, etc. are advised not to use the pool. There will be no spitting or spouting water, blowing your nose, or discharging of any bodily waste in the pool.
  • INFANTS & KIDS IN DIAPERS – Babies and potty-training children must wear the appropriate swim diapers while in the pool. All diaper changes are to be made in the bathroom and not poolside. Dirty diapers must be disposed of in the large, enclosed trash cans outside and not in the restroom.
  • FOOD & DRINKS – No food is allowed in the water. Food and drink containers must not be made of glass. Food and drink containers must be disposed of in the large, enclosed trash cans outside and not in the restroom.
  • MUSIC – Any music should be contained and heard only by the person or group of people playing the music.
  • POOL PARKING LOT – The pool parking lot is private property of Huntington West HOA. It is not to be used for anything but short-term parking by the homeowners to utilize the amenities.
  • MISCELLANEOUS – Horseplay, running, diving, excessive noise, or profanity will not be tolerated within the fenced pool area, including the restrooms. Keep restroom doors closed at all times. 

SWIM AT YOUR OWN RISK. NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY.


 

THE HUNTINGTON WEST HOA AND/OR BOARD OF OFFICERS WILL NOT BE HELD LIABLE FOR ANY INJURY TO ANY PERSON(S) WHILE USING THE POOL.
