Our Neighborhood Suffered Another Loss

It is with heavy hearts that we must let you know our neighborhood has incredibly suffered another loss.

Andy Mitcham, an original Huntington West homeowner, and a former HOA President passed away early Friday morning. The memorial service for Andy is not yet scheduled but will be sometime after Thanksgiving. A meal train has been set up for meals this week and for after Thanksgiving. Please keep Sandy and the Mitchams’ adult children Brendon and Brittany in your thoughts and prayers. Cards can be sent to Sandy Mitcham at 4016 Avonlea Court.

The Annual Meeting of the Membership

Neighbors Helping Neighbors

Huntington West is blessed with many generous homeowners willing to help a neighbor in need, even a neighbor they have never met. Our Board would like to thank a trio of neighbors who stepped up to help a single mom who needed repairs to her picket fence. Many thanks to retiree Dave Lawson for volunteering to replace over 50 broken pickets on the fence.

OFFICIAL RESULTS – Board Officers Election

The official results of the recent election for Board officers of the Huntington West Homeowners Association are: A total of 72 ballots were returned and validated. Some ballots did not include votes for every office.

Upcoming Dates

Nominations are now open for 2023-2024 HOA Board officers. Nominations will close at 8 am on Monday, April 3. Ballots will be mailed to homeowners and will be due back to Heritage by close of business day Friday, April 21. Submit nominations to the Board via email (board@hwhoa.org)

Message from Huntington West Homeowners Association, Inc. - Assessment Remittance Lockbox Update

Heritage will be sending out invoices for 2023 HOA fees soon. Invoices will reflect a slight (5%) increase in mandatory HOA fees, due to rising costs from contractors , especially our pool service contractors. Fees are due May 1. Complete payment information will be included on invoice statements, but please be aware of the following changes to lockbox payment procedures.
